If interested, please discuss your options with Dr. Wei.

Nitrous Oxide

One sedation option in the office is nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas. Nitrous oxide has been the primary means of sedation in dentistry for many years. It is very safe to use as the patient receives 50 – 70% oxygen with the nitrous oxide. During sedation, the patient can breathe on their own and remain in control of all bodily functions. Most patients feel very relaxed and may fall asleep. After the procedure, there is little to no hangover from the gas.
